Obv: Khusro I, bust facing, head right, wearing merlon crown with tassel to left and surmounted by crescent with |||, inside single dotted-border, crescent at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. There is Pahlavi script to the left and right of the king's portrait within the borders.
Rev: Fire altar with two attendants standing facing, wearing tall headgear, both hands on sword hilt, all inside single dotted-border
Mint: Aylan, at or near Eran-asan-kar-Kavad (Hulwan), Media/Western District.
Weight: 4.0 grams. Maximum dia: 30 mm.
