The North Wales Washington piece c. 1792:
Obv: GEORGEIVS WASHINGTON , military bust of George Washington left.
Rev: NORTH WALES , crowned ten string harp, base of harp dividing two rosettes of six petals.
Used locally as an evasion halfpenny, produced with shallow dies so as to look worn at the time of minting. Some attribute to William Lutwyche's factory, Birmingham?
Material: Copper. Edge: Plain. Weight: 6.16 grams / 95.2 grains. Diameter: 27.2mm.
