Bridgnorth-on-Severn held out as a Royalist garrison until April 26, 1646.
It is likely that these smaller denominations were used as Royalist badges, as many are found to be pierced, perhaps being sewn into their tunic.

Please study the photos. This example has been pierced and plugged with solder, there are also some light fractures along where the coin has at some time been bent. "This coin is stable". In my opinion it is an attractive example of this scarce issue.
