Bridgnorth-on-Severn held out as a Royalist garrison until April 26, 1646.
It is likely that these smaller denominations were used as Royalist badges, as many are found to be pierced, perhaps being sewn into their tunic.

Please study the photos. This example has been pierced, there is also a little damage and a small fracture around 10 o' clock looking at the obverse, the fracture appears by a flan flaw. "This coin is stable". In my opinion it is an attractive example of this scarce issue.
