Obverse: (sun) ED WARD DI GRA REX AnGL Z FRAnC DnS I B ; Edward standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield, E on banner at stern, rose on hull.
Reverse: (sun) IhC AVT TRAnSIEns PER MEDIVM ILLORVM I BAT ; rose over sun with fleurs, crowns, and lions, small trefoils in spandrels.
Slightly wavy flan.
