Obverse: CAROLVS.A. CAROLO , bust of Charles II, with long hair, facing left, 1665 below.
Reverse: QVATVOR.MA RIA.VINDICO , Britannia in long flowing drapery, seated to left on a globe, her right leg bare. By her side a shield bearing the combined crosses of St. George and St. Andrew. In her raised right hand she holds a spray of leaves. Her left hand, resting on shield, supports a long spear, its butt resting on a double exergue line. BRITANNIA in exergue.
Edge: Straight grained, with raised line down centre.
