Charles II, second issue, machine struck penny 1660-1662
Obverse: CAROLVS II DG M B F & H REX ; bust to edge of coin, I behind; legend starts at about 7 o'clock; no mintmark.
Reverse: CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO ; the Kings shield over a cross; mintmark crown.
Amazingly this coin appears to be as struck, though haymarking both sides.
