Mary, copper pattern farthing or medallet c.1689:
Obverse: MARIA.II. DEI GRA. - Mary II by the Grace of God, bust of Mary right.
Reverse: EX.CANDORE.DECVS. - Out of Purity comes Splendor, rose in full bloom.
Without doubt some of these pieces circulated as farthings.
Composition: Copper. Weight: 5.9 grams. Diameter: 22mm.
