Reverse: 1/2 Fr. 1850 in two lines surrounded by wreath of Oak and Gentian, A below.
Paris mint: (hand) Charles-Louis Dierickx, Mint Master, Monnaie de Paris (1845-1860); (dog's head) Jacques-Jean Barre, General coin engraver, Monnaie de Paris (1850-1855).
Edge: Milled. Composition: .900 silver. Weight: 2.43 grams.
