Edith Edlinson was the widow of Robert, citizen and shipwright of St. Olave's, who died in 1664. When he died he was a linen dealer. He left all his goods and the shop to his son, Richard. Richard was also left property in Gloucestershire and Chester. Robert's widow Edith, received a messuage (property) in St. Olave's and a further two messuages in Maidenhead Street in Bishopsgate, London. She also received three tenements in Worcester and all the household goods. (T. Scotney)
