Obv: Victoria dei gratia britanniar.reg:f:d: - God, Queen of the british territories, defender of the faith, in Gothic script, around Gothic type bust of Queen Victoria facing left.
Rev: tueatur unita deus anno dom mdcccxlvii - may God protect the union, in the year of 1847, in Gothic script, around crowned cruciform shields, emblems in angles.
Edge: (crown) Decus (rosette) et (rosette) tutamen (crown) anno (rosette) regni (rosette) undecimo , in relief, in Gothic script.
Minor rim contact marks, Good Extremely Fine with a magnificent, steely iridescent deep tone (which I am unable to capture on the photos). The edge
inscription is also Good Extremely Fine. An extremely attractive coin in hand.
