Reverse: Elizbeth Pippin , in script, in two lines, heart with crossed arrows below, engrailed border.
Lovely chocolate brown tone. Difficult to photograph, better in hand.
Weight: 7.35 grams. Diameter: 27mm.

Worthy of research. HMS Mermaid class sixth rate frigate; launched 6th May 1761; driven aground Maryland beach 8th July 1778 to avoid capture; two Hundred officers and men, 28 guns.
