Peroz I Kushanshah, Gold dinar, c. AD 245-6:
Obverse: King standing left, wearing military dress and a lion-head crown with korymbos, and, with his right hand, sacrificing over altar to left and, with his left, holding trident; to left, trident standard and pellet to right of altar; between legs, pellet over swastika; to right, below arm, three pellets; outer right, tamgha.
Reverse: Siva standing facing on ground line, holding diadem in his outstretched right hand and trident in his left; behind him, the bull Nandi standing left.
Weight: 7.97 grams. Diameter: 32mm.
