Obv: (pierced eight point mullet)IOHN.KINGSTON.OF.TOWCESTER.MERCER , around cable in two linear inner circles, scales within.
Rev: (pierced eight point mullet)IOHN.KINGSTON.OF.TOWCESTER.MERCER , around cable in two linear inner circles, (rosette)I(pierced eight point mullet)K(rosette) with (pierced eight point mullet)(cinquefoil)(pierced eight point mullet) above and 1666/(rosette) below.
M. Dickinson 167. Dies as Norweb 3474.

Note: I have listed as a farthing for the following reasons:
i) Examples we have seen so far are on average 33% lighter than W168, which are accepted as being farthings.
ii) So far, W167 examples I have weighed or know the weight of, are on average half the weight of the denomination valued halfpennies from Towcester, even though the diameters are similar.
iii) They could only have been used in trade with John Kingston himself, who else would accept them as a halfpenny?
