Rare variety Cronebane halfpenny 1789:
Obv: CRONEBANE HALFPENNY a bishop's head in profile, and a crosier tied with a bow of ribbon. Period farther from crosier and ribbon ends shorter, (no flaw under bust).
Rev: ASSOCIATED IRISH MINERS ARMS around shield of arms, crest a windlass dividing 1789. The handle of windlass comes just under but does not touch the first limb of the R, the 1 (sloped top and curved bottom) of date comes between the I and A, and the 9 is by the S.
