15ct cast gold memorial medal of Edward I after J Dassier:
Obverse: EDOUARD.I.D.G. ANG.ET.HIB.REX. ; crowned, draped and armoured bust three-quarters left, signed J.D.
Reverse: A decorated circular temple, flanked by History and two figures; NAT.1230.COR.1272 MORT.1307 in two lines in exergue.
Composition: 15ct gold. Diameter: 39.7mm. Weight: 28.14 grams.

Small working or test mark above the crown on obverse. Working spot in reverse field. The last 2 of 1272 in ex has been altered to a 9. Working marks around the rim.

XRF analysis of the medal shows it is 62.52% gold (15ct), 18.45% silver, 19.04% copper.
