Obv: GEORGIVS V DEI GRA:BRITT:OMN:REX FID:DEF:IND:IMP: , modified low relief effigy left, BM on truncation.
Rev: ONE PENNY , Britannia seated, with shield and trident, facing right, 1926 in exergue.
The Modified Effigy obverse is easily identified from the first obverse type as follows:
The initials BM are without stops and are further to the right on the truncation.
The I in DEI points directly to a tooth on the rim, on the first obverse the I will point between two teeth.
The bottom stop of the colon after GRA is closer to the A of GRA.
