With Baldwin ticket on which reads "Lancs Unp(ublished)99bis".
The apparent pellet beside the arms is the result of an attempted piercing on the reverse by the lambs feet. Attributed to Preston Lancs., by Heywood 1912, p. 70, but no trace of issuers (ex info. P. D. Greenall); to Leeds from marriages there of John Osbourne, grocer, 1666, Nathanael Jackson, gent, 1672(Paver 1911, pp.99,161), and the presence in the Headrow, 1672, of Nath. Jackson with one hearth, John Osbourne with two.
