Rare magnetic Royal Mint struck 1975 five pence: UNC.
Possibly a mint error, the coin being struck on a foreign planchet, if not, a trial run pattern piece? The coin is magnetic and so must be steel or nickel, it has what I would describe as a copper wash which does not extend to all of the milled edge. There is no sign of oxidation on the edge so I assume the coin to be nickel. This coin is Uncirculated. If anybody has anymore information about this coin I would be grateful to hear from you, thankyou.
