Queen Anne, 1714 pattern farthing
Obverse: ANNA.DEI. GRATIA. bust 2, hair bound on top with a string of pearls, the two ends of which hang from the bun behind. The bust, with the legend around it, is enclosed within a broad outer toothed border (only complete on the large-size flans), immediately within which there is a raised linear circle.
Reverse: BRITANNIA. Rev. D, Britannia in clinging drapery, seated to left on a globe. The date 1714, in the exergue. All within a plain, raised, linear circle, and an outer toothed border.
Edge: Plain. Diameter: 22mm. Peck 741.
