Obverse: Most like W 2373 but the M of MEAT even farther from the B of BOVRIL, also the second limb of the H in THAN points to the beginning limb of the E in EXTRACT.
Reverse: Most like W 2375 the bottom serif of B points to the foot of the R in GAUARANTEED.

The name Bovril derived from the Latin bos, meaning OX and Johnston took the vril from E. Bulwer-Lytton's novel The Coming Race of 1870, the plot involves a superior race, the Vrils-ya, who get their powers from an electromagnetic substance called vril.
