Obverse: VICTORIA D:G:BRITANNIAR:REGINA F:D: young head left.
Reverse: 1 1/2, 1843 below, crown above, all within wreath.

These silver three-halfpence were issued for circulation in the colonies, mainly Ceylon and the West Indies.
