Reverse: St. George mounted and slaying Dragon with sword, raised M on groundline, small B.P to right just below, 1891 in exergue.

Melbourne short tail sovereigns were not known to exist until c. 2010, and went unrecorded for many years, hence not in Marsh.

This variety possibly even rarer than the London 1891 short tailed variety. (see Chard website for more information).
