Uncertain location, Blyth, Sarah Thomas halfpenny

Obv: (mullet)SARAH.THOMAS.HIR.HALPENY , around beaded inner circle, oak tree.
Rev: (mullet)GOD.SAVE.THE.KING , around beaded inner circle, bust of Charles II left.
Found at Blyth, Nottinghamshire.
M Dickinson, Wales 91B. Boon 129a.

First attributed to Wales by Peter Seaby and George Boon. Presently attributed to Yorkshire due to this and one other specimen previously being found at Blyth Nottinghamshire. and a Sarah Thomas has been located in those parts of the hearth tax records published by the Ripon Historical Society as resident in Halifax in 1672. Worthy of more research.

There is one other specimen is in the National Museum of Wales collection.

Due to present attribution this token is also listed under Halifax Yorkshire.
